Located in a small village in the Yorkshire Dales these affordable houses are designed for young people looking to live within the area and run their own business. The flexible layouts allow for future adaptation in response to the changing needs of the occupiers. Bedrooms and work spaces are located on the ground floor whilst living spaces are at first floor to take advantage of the spectacular views of Pen Y Ghent in the distance. The formal clarity of the truncated hipped roof is inspired by the English Arts and Craft movement and allows for future expansion into this space.
