A garage conversion creating a dedicated home office, making better use of the existing house without extending its footprint.

The proposal adapts the garage into a room for working from home, providing a separate space alongside the main living accommodation. The layout was refined with the clients as existing services were relocated, freeing up the interior and allowing the small side window to remain.

A new front window replaces the garage door, with its size and position aligned with the windows above. White frames match the existing house, helping the conversion sit naturally within the front elevation. Insulation upgrades form part of the detailed design, adapting the former garage for everyday use.

Our work took the project from initial drawings through a successful lawful development certificate application and the preparation of Building Regulations drawings.
